How to Set Up and Log Into AMS Using AMS Credentials
If you are logging into the mobile version of AMS for the first time, you will need to complete a one-time process to set up your profile. Click the "First-time AMS User?" link on the AMS Credentials login page.
Enter your personal information (i.e., last name, date of birth, and the last four digits of social security number) and click the "Next" button.
Note: reCaptcha is used to prevent brute force attacks on public facing websites. In AMS, the objective of reCaptcha is to verify the user is a human and not an automated system. If suspicious activity is detected, then the user will be required to respond to an image challenge by making selections.
Note: Click the "Don't have SSN?" link for assistance if you do not have an SSN; and click the "Don't know HHSID" link for assistance in determining your HHSID.
You will proceed through multiple sections on the next page: Verify Your Profile, Create Password, and Security Questions and Answers.
- Confirm your information by clicking the "Check this box if the information above is correct" checkbox.
- Enter and confirm your password.
- Select and answer your security questions.
